TEACHER NEEDED

NEWS ALERT. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The Make Lounge (http://www.themakelounge.com) is looking for an
enthusiastic, London-based designer-maker to plan and teach handbag
workshops in our North London venue.

Specifically, we’re seeking someone to teach bags that can be
completed by experienced sewers in a single three to four hour
session. (Perhaps fabric shoulder bags or metal-framed evening
clutches?)

Our dream instructor will be comfortable working with groups of 8-10
people using sewing machines (we have 12 machines plus 3 overlockers),
can envision and plan workshops, and can assist with sourcing
materials. An outgoing and friendly personality is essential.

To apply: Please email teach AT themakelounge DOT com with relevant
experience, work samples (web link or three jpgs), and a covering
letter. We’d love to hear from you by August 15.
